I am an Emmy-nominated producer with 10 years experience directing, shooting and editing documentaries, promos and commercials. I have completed projects solo as a "one-woman-band", and also managed full-scale production teams. I believe it's my calling to use video to tell stories with a purpose, whether it be promoting a new hit tv series, finding homes for children in foster care or increasing sales for a small business. Clients have included National Geographic Channel, Travel Channel, ABC7, WUSA9, musical artists and many non-profit organizations. I love having a hand in every step of the process from writing scripts and grant proposals, to serving as director of photography and editing in Premiere and After Effects.
I call the DC-area my home now, but I love traveling and experiencing new cultures. I've spent considerable time doing development work in the Caribbean, as a Peace Corps volunteer on the island of St. Vincent, and a documentary film-making instructor in Haiti. I have a particular interest in stories about the human condition that shed light on bringing our worlds closer together.
